Theo Dekan of the label Theo puts on a wild show, often connecting his collections to futuristic themes. This time, there was aBlade Runnertouch, with many of the blazers and jackets featuring exaggerated, squared-off shoulders. But there were retro influences, too. Suiting got the glam-rock treatment via a shimmering golden material and sinisterly pointed shoulders with a David Bowie attitude.Puffer jackets have been a trend on the runway in Kiev. The city is frigid, averaging about 15 degrees Fahrenheit a day recently, so it’s little wonder that designers have warm clothing on the brain. Dekan put his outré spin on the popular outerwear by meshing two separate puffers together so that the arms poked out above the armholes. The weird and wacky statement piece is bound to catch the eye of someone on the street style front.
