As such, their patent trenches (worn sans pants, of course), tear-away denim, and Western boots don’t feel particularly new—we saw shades of brands from Vetements to Matthew Adams Dolan on the catwalk—but in the landscape of Aussie fashion, the pair is positively leading the charge.Their most daring looks this season weren’t the bold-shouldered blazers or wide trousers, but rather, the slogan tees and knits that played off the pair’s Australian heritage to ironic effect.Devo—shorthand for devastated, not the ’80s synth band—was spelled out on a tee in neon pink, whilesuss—short for suspicious—was made into a knit tracksuit in lilac and white.
